Meet Me in the Hallway is the story of two lonely neighbours who by chance have a conversation that becomes something beautiful.

Alex is an aspiring musician whose life isn't going exactly as planned. Her ex has always held her back, but now she is ready to leave and move on. As she is packing to leave her apartment, Bryan, her next-door neighbour, punches a hole through her wall.

Forced for the first time to actually interact with each other, they realize that they are more similar than they thought. Alex decides to help Bryan get over a recent breakup, and in doing so she might even find a way to help herself.
Filming during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Meet Me in the Hallway was in production from January to April, 2021. The faculty and crew had to make a 10-minute film while also following strict safety protocols. Preproduction was all done virtually, using online video meetings and collaborative software. During filming only the essential crew was on location, only 5 people were allowed on set at any given moment to ensure physical distancing. We utilized a variety of different rooms where other crew members could watch what was going on through remote screens, and a system of safely moving between rooms was developed. Every crew member attended Covid training and a Covid officer was present every day. It was a difficult undertaking to make a movie with such limited and distanced circumstances, but the crew managed to pull it off and make a great film.
